  • Very interesting. Thanks for the historical notes. My father was a dairy farmer in Wisconsin and bought a new Super C in 1951 and a new Super M in 1952. My great-grandfather came to Wisconsin from Switzerland in 1842. My cousin still farms the original farm in Sauk County, WI. The area is declared the "Honey Creek Swiss" historical district.

  • The Farmall M was a big success in Europe. The British production of the Farmall M(Farmall BM)began in 1949 at Doncaster in England.

  • Hi, Jasminbrahas! The lens was the stock kit lens that came with my Nikon D50, an 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6g ED AF-S DX Nikkor lens. I've used it for many of the D50 photos in my pheasotrotm, until I bought a Tamron 18 250 zoom in August.Thanks for the tip on the tractor videos; I'll check it out sometime soon.
